Carolyn Tomlin and her friend, Denise George extends their writing ministry by offering seminars to women who want to write and publish their works. Scheduled in a natural setting, these seminars offer women 10 hours of instruction during a weekend retreat. In this small group, women will receive one-on-one instruction and meet other women who love to write and want to publish their material.

What can you expect? A no-frills, no-nonsense, information-packed, basic training approach to writing articles for Christian and secular magazines, devotions, and writing for children's publications, taught by authors Carolyn Tomlin and Denise George. We will study the art of writing magazine articles, and the types of articles editors seek; get to know both the Christian and secular magazine marketplaces; learn how to write for children's magazines; and learn how to professionally approach a magazine editor with your article idea.

Carolyn Tomlin has written and sold more than 3600 articles to both Christian and secular magazines (including children's markets). Denise George has written and sold more than 1500 articles to both Christian and secular magazines.
